Djulbars - the most famous WW2 dog in Russia. During the war, he detected 7,468 mines, and was awarded the medal “For Military Merit”, becoming  the only dog who received a military reward. At the end of the war Djulbars was injured and was unable to walk. To honor his contribution, soldiers carried him in hands through the Red Squire during the Victory Parade in Moscow:
