Queen Elizabeth The Queen Mother attended the 1953 Coronation wearing a crinoline-skirted Norman Hartnell gown in white satin bordered in gold tissue. Her jewels included Queen Victoria's Diamond Fringe Brooch and the Greville Peardrop Earrings (made in 1856 and 1938, respectively). She also wore the crown that was created for her own coronation in 1937, but without the arches. Photo of the Greville earrings is via Royal Magazin, remaining images are courtesy of the Royal Collection Trust.
