Found an easy laundry detergent recipe online. 1 bar shaved Ivory Soap ($1.00 for 3 bars), 1 cup Borax, 1 cup Arm & Hammer washing soda. Mix together and store in a container. Cost me about $9.00 for all the ingredients and I will get at least 180 loads if not more out of mixing the rest of the ingredients. Tested a few loads and the clothes came out smelling fresh and are very clean without that chemical feel. I'm sold, I will never buy store detergent again!
