The Assault Breacher Vehicle is a tracked combat engineer vehicle for the Armored Brigade Combat Team (ABCT) and Marine Air Ground Task Force (MAGTF) used to breach complex and explosive minefields and obstacles. This allows maneuver forces of the ABCT to maintain pace in offensive combat operations using an overhauled M1A1 Abrams tank hull with modifications for the M58 Mine Clearing Line Charge (MICLIC).
