I like this interactive library bulletin board idea: quotes or clues about books laminated on squares with the answer (book cover) stapled underneath. Lift the flap to check your answer. Could be a theme bulletin board, too.
Name That Book - Find illustrations from children's picture books, and create a display to challenge your students to identify the title of the books ( I used the covers of old Booklist magazines, and old catalogs - mounted them on oaktag and laminated).
Glue ribbon to back cover of notebook to use as a bookmark in journals. - Great idea to help the kids stay on the correct page in their journals!I kind of want to do math or science journals next year!
activity cards for kids- Oh I love this! I can see putting these on index cards and then laminating the whole thing and giving the kids a kit of these cards and dry erase markers for a road trip. Too fun!
Essentially, you affix crayons to the top of a canvas, and blast them with a hair dryer. Watch as the colors bleed down the canvas, creating a beautiful, colorful mess! I can imagine this being a great project to hang in a child's room. This is very cool!
