2001: A Space Odyssey. Very disturbing to me when I saw it as a kid. Kinda spoiled me, other movies have a hard time measuring up. Shoulda seen Star Wars first.

2001: A Space Odyssey. I honestly do enjoy Sci-Fi flicks, and I know it's blasphemy to say so, but I just can't show that much love for this one. What I do love about this flick is the awesome set design. I have much love for the George Nelson Herman Miller Coconut chair, the Eero Aarnio's Globe chair and the poofy red Djinn chairs! I think I'm supposed to take more out of this movie than the awesome furniture, but I can't help it!! And for those reasons alone, this movie gets higher marks…

Movie nights with pizza without cheese, capsicum, eggplant and mushrooms wood fired instead. Need a Stanley Kubrick marathon. Also the cartoon avatar last air bender. Can't be at my house as banned this TV but I can do this once a week and no more at a friends house.

19. 2001: A Space Odyssey by Arthur C. Clarke: 4/5 stars (April) Once again Clarke really does it for me! He is really able through simple prose to instill a sense of wonder and anticipation! Really love the film...now I really love the book, too! Will definitely be reading the others in the series!
