St. Monica...my patron saint. She is known as the patron saint of alcoholics (which I am not) but she was also the mother of St. Augustine (who let's just say was a challenging child/adult). I have traveled a similar path with one of my children. Her constant prayer and unconditional love for her child eventually brought him to the light of Christ. My child has found the same light and I rejoice as well.
