Great book! It had me on the edge of my seat the whole time. Definitely one of the best suspense/mystery thrillers I've read.

I haven’t read a book this creepy, violent, or disturbing in a long time. A.M. Homes is, quite possibly, the most fearless writer I have ever read and The End of Alice is a book that is both horrifying and beautiful.

Yellow Crocus. On the order of The Help, a beautifully written book about slavery but on a personal level, the bonds between a mammy and the white baby she raises, the impact of these on her interactions with her own family, and the ability to "unlearn" what one is taught and choose that which is right rather than what is accepted.
