Adams County, Ohio In the rolling hills on the edge of Appalachia, you can drive through the 1855 Harshaville Covered Bridge or walk on the 1890 Kirker Covered Bridge. The Harshaville Covered Bridge, the last covered bridge still used in Adams County, was once traversed by Confederate General John Morgan and his Raiders when they passed through the county during the Civil War.
