It's always interesting to see a photo taken before the construction of a landmark. Here's a 1910 view of the Belton Chalet at Glacier National Park taken by Fred Kiser, before the road that became US Highway 2 was built between it and the railway station. The Belton Chalet is still there, just outside the west entrance to the park.
