Bad Dogs Have More Fun: Selected Writings on Family, Animals, and Life from The Philadelphia Inquirer by John Grogan

This was a great book to listen to as I quilted. I will say it brought me to the verge of tears five times. (not good to try and quilt blurry eyed LOL .Bad Dogs Have More Fun: Selected Writings on Family, Animals, and Life from The Philadelphia Inquirer

...One of my faves as a kid...love this...oh well, I am a bad puppy...no strawberry shortcake for me...!

One of my first and favorite books : ) The Poky Little Puppy (A Little Golden Book Classic): Janette Sebring Lowrey, Gustaf Tenggren:

We had this book, I remember Jeana reading it.

This was my favorite Little Golden Book when I was a kid. Although I loved most of the Little Golden Books and owned loads of them.

Not a true Sparks fan, but I loved this one because it is different than his others.

Outdated Reader: Novel Review of The Guardian by Nicholas Sparks

Famous actors reading quality books aloud.

Harry the Dirty Dog by Gene Zion, illustrated by Margaret Bloy Graham - I can't believe that so many of my favorite childhood books are so old!

Daisy Girl Scout Activities: Books to Help Your Girl Scouts Earn Daisy Petals

This brings back memories. I used to read Mercer Mayer books to my daughter when she was little. Funny thing was she was always kidding me about being forgetful, not the other way around.

Are You My Mother?

Random House RH9780679890478 Are You My Mother Board Book

I used to joke about being my kids aunt from Toledo. My daughter asked if I was her mother.

Book List

Have guest sign one of my favorite childhood books, its a toss between a Dr. Seuss book, Corduroy, Clifford the Big Red Dog, or something by Richard Scarry.

Awesome Book!!! Its for everyone...not just those in SAR. One of my first reads after getting Bella.

Scent of the Missing by Susannah Charleson: The personal narrative of the author's relationship and adventures with her search-and-rescue dog.

*I* love this one, but my almost 4 year old only tolerates it occasionally. If you're not familiar with the series, they're chapter books with each chapter a short topical story. But unlike most chapter books, there's a pic on each page so it's still appropriate for the very young.

Frog and Toad are Friends. This "I can read" book by Arnold Lobel is truly charming. It is full of great wisdom, depth and insight in the simplest of terms and stories. I am still enchanted by this and the other Frog and Toad books.

Neely's News: Rainbow Fish

The Rainbow Fish was definitely a favorite among my small library! I loved the colors and the textured pages. This book taught me the value in sharing and not being vain. Even today, I love to share my valuables and experiences with loved ones!
