setoboonhong ( Back and catching up slowly) posted a photo: As we ponder over the events of the year 2016.....we wonder where did we go wrong....... there seems to be more calamities....natural disasters not counted.....death , war , new diseases, continual destruction of the environment by pollution and deforestation at the hands of man and in the name of progress......and among all these.....nature keeps shinning through keeping our dreams and hope alive..... What happened to the world…
http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=vzyTAFWpZss Beautiful. Astrud Gilberto stuck my world in the summer of 2011. Now my desire to visit Brazil is even stronger, to bring dreams alive. This is just one track off a whole 'Best of/Finest Hour' compilation. I love every song, and it still isn't enough. Music like this is better than any drug. It can't fail to make you feel good, but there's substance in there too. "The Face I Love" (from Beach Samba, 1967)
whatever happens, for the rest of my life i´ll replay it in my mind to keep it alive in me; and i´ll give the world its story in every way i can, so it lives forever. ❧krikit ▶ They Cant Take That Away From Me Fred Astaire and Ginger Rogers in Shall We Dance - YouTube
Dimitris Sgouros ( 1969) is a Greek classical pianist. Sgouros is one of the world's leading concert pianists. Arthur Rubinstein exclaimed: “I thank God for keeping me alive so that I would be able to hear with my own ears Sgouros play. He is the best pianist I have ever heard, including myself”. He then took off his gold watch and put it on Dimitris Sgouros' wrist as if passing on the torch. Two months later he was dead.
