Verse –123, Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter - 3): And Allah had already given you the victory at Badr, when ye were contemptible. So observe your duty to Allah in order that ye may be thankful. Wa laqad nasara-kumul-laahu bi-Badrinw-wa ‘antum ‘azillah. Fatta-qullaaha la-‘allakum tash-kuruun.
The heirs of the Hypocrite attended the court of the Messenger (grace, glory, blessings and peace be upon him) and sued against Omar (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him) regarding the execution of the Hypocrite. They began to swear that the matter was brought to Him only for the purpose that a truce might be made mutually between them (the Jew and the Hypocrite) by him (may Allah Almighty be pleased with him)
When an animal is about to be killed, he does not happily surrender his jugular because he knows he is being killed in halal-fashion. He surrenders because he must, because palates must be sated. Why would God give animals nervous systems, knowing they would feel terror and agony? And for those who declare that halal-Killing is merciful, would they give up their own necks in such a fashion?
Verse –137 & 138, Surah ‘Aali ‘Imran (The Family Of ‘Imran, Chapter – 3) | 138. This is a declaration for mankind, a guidance and an admonition unto those who ward off (evil). 137. Qad khalat min- qablikum Suna-nun fasiiruu fil-‘arzi fan- zuruu kayfa kaana ‘aaqibatul-mukazzibiin. 138. Haazaa ba-yaanul-linnaasi wa hudanwa-wa maw-‘izatul- lil- muttaqiin.
