A complete red and gilt lacquered kura with aori and abumi 19th Century The saddle mounted on the original under-cushions, all decorated in red, gilt and black lacquer with a motif of flowering plants rendered in hiramaki-e and takamaki-e, repeated on the tooled leather saddle flaps, the iron abumi lacquered red to match.
