Herod's Gate, Old City Gates (also called the Flowered Gate "Babl ez-Zahr "). This gate, named for King Herod Antipas, is located east of the Damascus Gate in the northern wall. It leads into the Muslim Quarter of Jerusalem.
The Western Wall, a remnant of the ancient wall that surrounded the Temple Mount in Jerusalem. Herod the Great is believed to have started building it around 19 BC. The wall goes far below street level and many sections of the Western Wall are concealed behind structures running along the whole length of the Temple Mount. There is just a small portion that remains and is still visible.
