1804-1809 French Mantelpiece at the Victoria and Albert Museum, London - From the curators' comments: "The central reliefs depict Napoleon I as Emperor bestowing honours on his brothers, with busts of Napoleon himself and, it is thought, Josephine. The mantelpiece was therefore most likely made between 1804 when Napoleon became Emperor and 1809 when he divorced Josephine."
