This timber home blends in with the Southern Highlands countryside in New South Wales state, Australia. Owners Charlotte Shields, a craft-supplies business owner, and her husband Brett, an international fire consultant, purchased the approximately 6-acre parcel of land in 2001. Two years later, they built a two-bedroom villa, followed by an 8,417-square-foot, three-bedroom, three-bathroom house in 2011.
