Ben Nevis II (1968-1995) was sired by Casmiri out of Ben Trumiss; Damsire: Hop Bridge. An excellent steeplechase horse, his racing record of 9 wins 21 starts (9-3-2) included two straight victories in the Maryland Hunt Cup (1977-1978), and the Maryland Grand National in the same two years. He won the English Grand National in 1979 at the age of 11. Ben Nevis II was inducted into the Hall of Fame in 2009.
