Christina in red 6. These stunning images look like they could have been plucked off Instagram, but they were actually taken in 1913. Mervyn O’Gorman took them of his daughter Christina O’Gorman at Lulworth Cove, on the English coast in Dorset. He used the early color Autochrome process, a technique which used glass plates coated in dyed potato starch which acted as a filter for different colors.

With only the bride and groom in color, it really emphasized the purpose of a photo--a moment frozen in time. It really seems like time is standing still in the photo. I love this photo idea!
