I transplanted a Jack-n-the-pulpit from out in my cow pasture to a garden I have under a crab apple tree. It seems to really like it there and have multiplied. This did take a few years to happen. It is a really unique wild flower.
I created this little calf 'house pen' for my babies to sleep in without having to share it with the big cows. They really enjoyed themselves. It is amazing how tough these little guys are in MN winters and springs. I start calving usually around the first of April.
