My suri llamas were my inspiration to learn to spin. Their suri locks are so beautiful, I wanted to spin them intact. My yarns are made of one or more of the following: Llama, Alpaca, Sheep, Goat. I always begin with raw fiber, and wash/dye. I love working with different textures and to achieve my effect, I do spin one lock at a time.
