Queen B Creations: Wetlands For this card the middle strips of Wild Wasabi and Marina Mist are painted on with the Aqua Painter. Stampin' Tip: I squeezed the ink pad together while it was shut, then when I opened it a small amount of ink was on the inside lid of the stamp pad. I then used my Aqua Painter to pick up some of the ink and paint onto my card with it.
Wetlands- won't lie to you; this simple layered card isn't easy to get right. Took 5 tries before I was happy. To guarantee no ink smearing, use Black Stazon ink & give a moment to dry between stamp images. Stamp-a-ma-jig is a must! Temporarily adhere your panel to grid paper when drawing the bordered sentiment lines w/a ruler. Be careful to not pick up stray ink marks on your stamp edge or ruler. card was made using my largest lacy edge oval die from Spellbinders. measured inside of card (inside dotted line) and then cut a card base with the Cameo and adhered the Spellbinder piece on top of the card base. flowers were cut twice...once in pink and once in green, then paper pieced; also added touch of pink Copics to the blooms. sentiment is from Papertrey Ink.
