Japanese artist Toshiko Horiuchi-MacAdam is considered one of Japan's leading fiber artists, using knitting and crochet as the foundation for much of her work. Her website explains that she specializes in "creating large, interactive textile environments that function both as imaginative and vibrant explorations of color and form, at the same time as providing thrilling play environments."

Over the rainbow masking tapes -  I’ve said it before, and I’ll say it again… I need multi-colored masking tape RIGHT NOW!    I thought I’d leave you for the weekend with this incredibly meticulous, slightly sticky, and most importantly… insanely rainbowie installation by Austin based artist Rebecca Ward. OK, I know ‘rainbowie’ isn’t a word, but in this particular case, I think it applies!

"Curated by Rokolectiv Bucharest and exhibited at the Contemporary Art Museum in the Romanian capital is the Zimoun + architect Hannes Zweifel made art installation."  --» & there is even more to it, go see for yourself!
