Véraison is a French term that describes the change of color in grape berries, and it signals the transition from berry growth to berry ripening. All our WWV Estate grapes are now showing signs of this transition. Here's a cluster of our Sangio that just started to change over. Because of our elevation we tend to lag behind the rest of the valley ... so this is a sure sign that the 2013 Crush is almost here!!
