Janet’s Foss waterfalls, near Malham Tarn, Wensleydale, Yorkshire, UK   are said to be named after the fairy queen Jennet of local legend  that inhabited the falls. It’s easy to see why the legend grew up as  the waterfalls are an enchanted place; a green oasis with a settled,  calming and peaceful atmosphere that pervades the falls and  surrounding area.
