An earth friendly kitchen in stone, wood and tile. The stone wall in this rustic kitchen is highlighted by salvaged wood beams and white tile. Floor made from flagstone and reclaimed hemlock wood mirrors the stone wall panel and timber ceiling.
Although this kitchen has a ceiling, beams from an old railroad bridge make it feel cozy. The homeowners used wood cabinetry and dark furnishings to complement the rustic beams. (via Vaulted Ceiling Kitchen interior design
Love the chalkboard in the kitchen idea. I have the chalkboard.and it needs to be moved.but wall space is nil. I'll have to wait 'til the living room becomes the dining room and we expand out the front of the house.
A luxurious bedroom: Fern Creek Cottage: A Rustic French Barn House in Texas. A gorgeous lodge-style room with old beams, a huge window, a vintage carpet, and its own little 'dining area', the perfect spot for a morning cup of tea.
