With the 2011 NASCAR season racing towards a dramatic finish, AFLAC commissioned CSE to produce and edit a 30-second spot congratulating Carl Edwards on his success. However, with only three points separating Carl and fellow Sprint Cup chaser Tony Stewart heading into the final race of the season, the commercial’s messaging would depend on the race’s outcome. CSE created two versions of the spot. Ultimately this version aired on the ESPN networks and SPEED immediately following the race.

On July 4, 2011, dozens of immigrants were naturalized as American citizens at Monticello, the home of Thomas Jefferson. Coca-Cola Chairman and CEO, Muhtar Kent was the keynote speaker at the event. CSE captured the moment and delivered this highlight video to be shown at July 4th celebrations across the country that evening. From the National Mall in D.C. to California’s Six Flags Discovery Kingdom, America welcomed our newest citizens.

Demonstrating the power weather has to change lives in an instant, each episode took viewers inside communities devastated by natural disasters to find stories of hope and rebuilding. The series spanned several natural disasters, including wildfires in Yorba Linda, CA; tornadoes in Sherwood, AR, Harrah, OK, and Joplin, MO; Hurricane Ike in Texas, and more.

In a Kansas field, a battle was waged. The combatants weighed in at over 15 tons. When the dust settled, one machine stood clearly above the rest.

The Edge of Farming features 11 weekly episodes and while the challenges these farm families face may be radically different, they all share a common goal: Survival.

The Ad Council joined forces with the LPGA to feature Lorena Ochoa, Natalie Gulbis and Karrie Webb in the “Get up and play an hour a day” campaign. Ned Simon produced and directed this project and Matjik Creative handled the post production and delivery.
