As viewed from the street in May 2011 - -- listed in the National Register on October 3, 1991. Wright never measured the square footage; it wasn't a number he ever cared to know. The Hamilton County Auditor's website says it has 2,100 square feet of living space.
The main outdoor space is this Cherokee Red lanai, reachable through floor-to-ceiling French doors in the Great Room. Enclosed by a low, cement fence equipped with four gas torches, the area also has a garden bed. The furniture and sprite figure designed by Wright are not original to the house or part of the sale.
The two-car auto port is split by a windowed column and anchored by a small storage room on the left. The small windows in the right corner of the house face south and let light into the master suite study.
