Making of ... - This is a "making of" panorama from my previous picture of Hamnøya . You can see several photographers at the desired spot of nearly every Lofoten visitor. ;-) My camera and me, we got a little bit wet by the crashing waves on the rocks, but this view was worth the crumbling down over the slippery rocks and the soaked trousers. ;-)

Photo: @mikelibecki Midnight Arctic sun in east Greenland on a solo expedition into immaculate mayhem and beauty...my view from basecamp on the way to recon and climb some of the biggest and remote rock formations in the world...this is in early July, the light in the polar regions is like nothing else on Earth...and there is something special about photos taken with film, this image was shot with Velvia 100 slide film, that has unique character and rich-contrasty hues...check out…

"Photograph" is a 1983 single by British hard rock band Def Leppard from their album Pyromania. Singer Joe Elliott often stated before playing the song live that it was written as a tribute to the late actress Marilyn Monroe, but he contradicted himself in a later interview and explained the song is more generally about "something you can't ever get your hands on". When released as a single it reached No. 1 on the Billboard Top Tracks chart and No. 12 on the Pop Singles chart.

This photograph is a great representation of how MOVEMENT can affect your viewing. Our eyes follow the rocks from the base, up into the eventual end of the swirl. This type of movement would be considered directional because it causes your eyes to follow the swirl. movement is very important within a work of art because it keeps the viewer interested.
