Rhombic Hexecontahedron Are you ready for some mathematical terminology? At Mathworld you can see an animation of the rhombic hexecontahedron. This is a polyhedron with 60 faces. Each diamond-shaped face is what we mathematicians call a golden rhombus. The smaller angle is about 63 degrees -- that's somewhat larger than the 60-degree diamonds that quilters are used to making. .......stitched the 60 diamonds together. There are twelve sets of five diamonds. I used six colors altogether.

This resource is based on Common Core standards but is also helpful if your curriculum is a variation. You'll get 50-60 student-friendly goals per grade level, color-coded by cluster across 4-8! It's easy to compare math topics across grades.
