((Closed, Roy/Layla)) It was a world of endless possibility. Freedom at last. The two walked down the street, Roy marveling at how the light reflected off the wet asphalt. The depot was close by, he thought. But all that mattered was one thing. They were out. They escaped, and they planned to keep it that way, come hell or high water. "Now, let's go find that train."
street photography I found this photograph to be extremely successful in the black and white method that it was shot in. The shadows add contrast and the perspective shot draws the eye down the alley as though one were actually walking down the street.
To the outside world Vivian Maier was just a nanny and housekeeper working in Chicago. But she also had a hidden talent was not recognised until after her death in 2009. Maier spent her life wandering the streets of Chicago with a Rolleflex camera strapped to her neck taking remarkable black and white pictures of a different side of the city, and a different side of life in America.
