Pria Graves has been creating botanical art since 1992, originally working in coloured pencil but more recently focusing on watercolour. In keeping with her passion for heirloom plants, she grows many uncommon antique varieties in her own garden including collections of iris, lilies, dahlias, narcissus and fruit trees.
Australia: 300 Years of Botanical Illustration by Dr. Helen Hewson. She was an acknowledged botanical authority and an illustrator. She was also Deputy Director of the Centre for Plant Biodiversity and Australian National Herbarium, Canberra, jointly administered by CSIRO Plant Industry and the Australian National Botanic Gardens.
