I absolutely love work that is half “finished”… there is a true confidence in it, as it’s quite a skill to know “when to stop”. These perfectly half drawn ladies are the work of UK based artist Mark Demsteader.
I like this version of the negative space drawing because it uses the more realistic tones in the skin but still has greens and purples that wouldn't normally be there. I also like the bottom although I'm not sure that is purposeful or part of the original drawing but I think it adds something to it.
