Waldorf education was created for healing. Almost 100 years ago. The approach was developed to help bring about social and economic renewal after the devastation of WWI. Here is a poem that Steiner wrote entitled, "A Verse for our Time." I think you'll find it just as relevant today as it was then. Very helpful for us as parents and homeschoolers doing the important work of raising the next generation.
