Jerusalem artist Ben Baruch Ruth gleaning the fields of Boaz The top rows in the heavens make use of the verses in which Ruth promises: " Wherever You will go, I shall go, Your people shall be my people and your God...my God." The verses also appear over her heart, thereby connecting her heart and soul with the Heavens and God above.
Her name was Ruth, she was a woman who persevered and trusted God through great adversity in her life. In the end, she received blessings she never could have hoped or dreamed of. The story of her life is of such great importance to all of us, that an entire book of the Bible is devoted to her. The book of RUTH. She was the great-grandmother of Kind David and one of the ancestors of Jesus. She is one of only four women mentioned in the genealogy of Jesus in Matthew chapter 1.
Ruth. This is one of my favorite bible stories; and it just goes to show that when you stop thinking and worrying about yourself and put the Lord and others first, your life will go wonderful places you never dreamed of.
