When I was reading, "The Shame of 'Honor,'" they mentioned an organization called HEAL Africa. I went on this organization's website & found that they have a resource for women to learn about gender & justice. They use this resource to "get to the root causes of gender inequality in the Congo."

Dr. Kyla Kurian attended the Ending Gender Inequality Conference where she moderated a breakout session on HIV Interventions that empower youth who use alcohol and other drugs and who are at risk for contracting HIV.
