Burlap-type twine covers this wood initial, which I then finished off with dainty accents pearls, pearl tipped straight pins, and peach/coral colored fabric flowers then it was mounted on a piece of specialty 12"x12" scrapbook paper. All contained in a glass-front 12"x12" frame.
Shadow box photo frame. Black frame, then used evergreen motif scrapbook paper to outline the box. Then used a Martha Stewart border punch that looked like pine tree limbs. Glued very small pinecones in the corners. Used a sticker across the top. A photo can be inserted in the center.
Glass block "Friends Forever Through The Years". Sand in the bottom, seashells, rocks from the beach and a few flat marbles that look like sea glass. A burlap bow on the top. A clear acrylic photo frame inside to hold a special beach photo. (Hint: when making one of these- put the opening on the side so the photo frame can be slipped in easily - otherwise you can't turn it once inside. ) Like my stick people picture?
