Jewel of the Desert Garnet Ice Plant is a low growing, tough groundcover with excelent color. These spread rapidly, are water-wise once established, and offer interest in color and texture. Can be sheared back in order to control their spill onto pavement, and their root systems can help knit and stabilize soil such as on hillsides.
This is my take on vocab pockets. I put a variety of high level adjectives for common words such as happy or sad into jewellery bags and hung them onto hooks to encourage children to use them to expand their vocabulary. Jeweller bags were £2 from eBay, bargain!!!

The Angouleme Emerald Tiara worn by Marie Antoinette and made by Evrard and Frederic Bapst for the French crown jewels in 1820. There are 1031 diamonds and 40 emeralds in the setting. When sold in 1887, an observer remarked that anyone who had not seen it 'does not know what an emerald is, the green stones alternate with the brilliants in such a manner that there is an interplay of coloured light, the effect of which is magical.'
The Danish Emerald Parure. This parure was commissioned in 1840 for Queen Caroline Amalie, the wife and consort of King Christian VIII of Denmark, on the occasion of their 25th silver wedding anniversary. It is part of Denmark’s Crown Jewels, and as such is not allowed to leave Denmark, and it can only be worn by the Queen. It was made by C.M. Weisshaupt in 1840.,,so very beautiful
