I think Nest is a great idea, at least in concept, I've never lived in a house (apartments/condos only) so heating bills have never been an issue. The problem here that I have is that installation is a little too DIY for me. Playing around with electrical wires is not my forte, nor do i imagine that most people know what they're doing, though i doubt that stops many people from f*cking sh*t up by trying. And professional installation is expensive. So, good luck, Nest Better include a manual.
