Manned Japanese Fighting Robot  Robotics expert Wataru Yoshizaki (Suidobashi Heavy Industry) and artist Kogoru Kurata have created a robot called KURATAS that weighs about 4-tons and measures 13 feet high. Users can control KURATAS from their iPhones or the cockpit and pilot the robot. The robot also has non-lethal weapons.

Japanese artist Kogoro Kurata has unveiled a ft meter) tall, 9900 lb kg) prototype mecha robot called Kuratas, which comes complete with "weapon systems" and is apparently cable of being driven by an onboard human pilot.
