I've always loved looking at the stars, but this volcano erupting on a French peak displays a lovely visual, some of what you see in the sky: the band of the Milky Way Galaxy, Pleiades star cluster, constellation Orion, Sirius and the Large and Small Magellanic Cloud Galaxies.

THERE IS SO MUCH BEAUTY ALL OVER THIS WORLD. TO BAD IT IS ALL GONNA COME TO AN END ONE DAY B4 WE KNOW IT. HOPE IT ISN'T IN MY LIFE TIME OR MY KIDS OR GRAND-KIDS ETC.

Moon, planets and stars over planet Earth. This was shot from the southern rim of the Grand Canyon on March 26, 2012. The Colorado River reflects the moonlight in the canyon. Venus is to the lower right of the moon, Jupiter further down near the horizon. The Pleiades and Hyades star clusters are above the moon. Cities glow over the horizon.
