HOMEMADE STRAWBERRY INFUSED RUM: Slice about 3c clean, fresh, ripe hulled strawberries and put into clean jar with tight seal. Add enough light rum to cover by about 1". Seal and store in cool dark place. Gently shake once a day. Let sit 2-3wks. Strain.
According to a bartender at Red Lobster, they use a mix called "mango passion" ( just a tropical blend of mango and berries) with a shot of Captain Morgan and blend with ice. A strawberry syrup or grenadine is plashed around the inside of the glass. Pour in ice mix then top with Myers Dark Rum. Garnish with an orange slice + cherry.
