Garbrand Hall ruins. Built about 1770 for Phillip Rowden, a London wine merchant. It was purchases years later in 1926 and the name changed to Bourne Hall where it became a girls school of Professional gentlemen, but closed in 1953. It was hoped to be brought up to date with new building codes but was demolished in 1962.
