When Tracy Nowak came on as sous chef for Tiny Boxwood’s, she had no idea she would end up running a restaurant in the building that had been her grandfather’s grocery store. Nowak’s grandparents, Rudy and Celestine Darilek, owned JMH No. 5 along with two other people for nearly 50 years. The store closed in 2007.
