N.D. (probably 19 c.) Pair of knitted wool socks. Persia. The toe is claret, the main part is lemon yellow ground with blue/black/shades of red. The knee has a cream ground with black/reds/green. They are lined with knitted wool. There is a narrow edging of interwoven silk in pink and black with silk cored silver thread with a black tassle.
