1924 De bloemvazen van Chris Lebeau / The vases by Chris Lebeau At the funeral of the architect K.P.C. The Bazel, the artist Lebeau (1878-1945) got in touch with P.M. Cochius, the leading director of the glass factory Leerdam. Cochius asked Lebeau to design a series of flower vases. By 1924 Lebeau developed, more than twenty types of vases for as many specific flowers the user himself could decorate by filling them with flowers. Different vases were placed on a loose foot of pressed glass.
