Antique Flower Basket Brooch

This sublime and extraordinary Edwardian brooch (and pendant) is about as fine as they come. A magnificently crafted diamond flower basket overflows with a bouquet of gemmy multi-color gemstones while the fine calibre ruby basket handle is wrapped in flowing diamond ribbons and bows. A natural pearl and diamond drop completes this masterwork handcrafted in platinum over yellow gold, circa 1900. 2 1/2 inches high by 1 5/8 inches across.
