Vignoles (Ravat 51) vines are cold hardy, with late bud break. Clusters of white berries are small and compact with susceptibility to botrytis fruit rot, but Vignoles is a very versatile variety with the potential for excellent wine quality. Vignoles can produce many different types of wine, and is frequently used for dessert wine. Wines made from ripe fruit have tropical fruit, citrus and pineapple flavors. Pairs well with spicy foods.
