"Another Vision" by Kristina Buceatchi. This photograph drew me in because it is so different from your typical flower and bee type macro shots. I think that the composition is so simple, but the intense detail in the cat really draws the viewer in. The eye sort of directs the focus up and into the negative space and then back to the overall subject. The contrast between the smooth texture of the eye and the fur is very distinct and offers a lot of interest in the photo.
