This is our organic veggie garden, and our fully enclosed chicken run and chicken coop. The raised beds are made of cedar, and have lasted for eight years. My husband made everything you see, including the potting bench on the right. Everything except the chicken coop!
Milk jug with hole cut in side, apple juice added.This tip was in "Country" magazine years ago and is used to trap yellow jackets and hornets. The yellow jackets like the apple juice better than the grapes. Lures them right in and they can't get out.
This is also a great idea for starting seeds as the moisture comes from the bottom, thus eliminating the fungus that kills many seedlings when you water from the top.need to bottles tho and I don't drink soft drinks.
Non toxic tomato worm control . Get yourself an old jar & poke holes in the lid. Fill the jar with plain white flour and sprinkle it liberally over your tomatoes, cabbage, broccoli.never had an issue with horn worms or other pests with this.
